AOC has expanded its V5 series with the 24V5CW, Q27V5CW and CU34V5CW, all high-resolution monitors that come with 2 MP webcams and USB Type-C ports for recharging external devices. According to AOC, all three webcams are Windows Hello certified, allowing you to log in to your desktop or laptop without typing out a password or PIN. Additionally, AOC has included twin 5 W speakers and microphones for video conferencing.
For reference, each monitor can recharge a connected device at up to 65 W, making them compatible with all but powerful workstation and gaming laptops. Moreover, AOC has included three-sided slim bezels across its new V5 series monitors, as well as height-adjustable stands and a four-port USB 3.2 Type-A hub. In saying that, the three monitors differ in a few areas. On the one hand, the 24V5CW has a 24-inch IPS panel that operates at 1080p and a 75 Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, both the Q27V5CW and CU34V5CW are 1440p monitors.
However, the Q27V5CW has a 27-inch IPS panel with a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel native resolution and a 75 Hz refresh rate. Conversely, the CU34V5CW is a 34-inch VA monitor with a 1500R curvature. As such, the monitor has a wider resolution than the Q27V5CW at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. Also, the CU34V5CW can operate at 100 Hz, unlike the rest of AOC's new V5 series monitors.
Currently, the cheapest of the three monitors is the 24V5CW, which has launched for £249.99 in the UK and for €319 in the Eurozone. Alternatively, the Q27V5CW costs £329.99 and €429, while the CU34V5CW comes in at £479.99 and €609.
