Manchester United, one of the best-known soccer franchises worldwide, has unveiled Qualcomm as one of its latest partners. The collaboration will apparently involve consultations to improve wireless connectivity within the team's historical Old Trafford headquarters, as well as a lot more Snapdragon logos to be seen around that stadium and its squad's branding going forward.

Manchester United (or MUFC) might be one of the best-known names in the soccer world that estimates its fan-count at 1.1 billion people across the globe at present. It has also now added Qualcomm as one of its Official Global Partners worldwide.

Accordingly, the team's followers might start seeing some new branding on the next generations of merchandise they buy, although it will apparently involve Snapdragon logos rather than those of Qualcomm. Accordingly, soccer-watchers are liable to start hearing a lot more of what the premier mobile chipset brand can offer tech users during MUFC games, especially when they go and do so in person.

Qualcomm is unlikely to be able to mention the specific smartphones, wearables or laptops powered by its silicon as of late, although spectators now stand to learn much more than they would have probably otherwise dreamed about programs such as Snapdragon Insiders - not to mention Snapdragon Spaces XR - from now on.

Those in-house Qualcomm solutions will help drive "ground-breaking experiences for [MUFC] fans across the globe, deepening their engagement with the football club they love” over the next few years, according to the club's chief operating officer of Alliances and Partnerships, Victoria Timpson.

Furthermore, those who visit Old Trafford for home fixtures may get to hear about how the new partnership with Qualcomm has improved network connectivity around the legacy stadium soon, as well as how it has driven what Don McGuire, senior vice president of Qualcomm Technologies, calls "the new era of technology innovation" at the venue in general.
