Motorola Moto Tab G62 launch date confirmed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, LTE and 2K display
Flipkart has started teasing the Moto Tab G62, a tablet that looks an awful lot like the Moto Tab G70. According to the retailer, the Moto Tab G62 features a 10.6-inch IPS display that operates at 2K. Presumably, the tablet will offer a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, which would match the Moto Tab G70. Supposedly, the display is also TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified and supports stylus input.
Additionally, the Moto Tab G62 relies on the Snapdragon 680, a mid-range chipset with an Adreno 610 GPU and an LTE modem. Seemingly, Motorola will only offer the Moto Tab G62 with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. However, Flipkart has confirmed that Motorola will sell LTE and non-LTE variants, with the latter being a cheaper option than the former. Meanwhile, a 7,700 mAh battery lies at the heart of the tablet, which the tablet can recharge at up to 20 W.
Furthermore, the Moto Tab G62 will come with quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos. The Flipkart listing also mentions that Motorola has included dual 8 MP cameras and has pre-installed Android 12. The Motorola Moto Tab G62 will be orderable from August 17 in India for INR 15,000 (~US$189). Unfortunately, Motorola has not commented on whether it will launch the Moto Tab G62 in any other markets, yet.
