The Galaxy A54 might fall almost exactly in the middle of Samsung's 2023 Android smartphone range, yet is touted to come with potentially high-end camera and design updates. It may even launch with a new rear panel comparable to that of the flagship S23 series next year.
To that end, the A54 is also tipped to come with refined triple rear cameras, even though the A53 shipped with quad shooters in 2022. That smartphone also comes with a decently large battery - however, its putative successor is now believed to outdo it in this respect as well - if only to a certain extent.
The blog GalaxyClub claims to have heard that a new smartphone called the Samsung SM-A546B (and, thus, possibly an A54 variant) will ship with a battery called the EB-BA546ABY with a rated capacity of 4,905mAh.
As the corresponding spec for the A53's EB-BA336ABY is 4,860mAh, rounded up to a typical capacity of 5,000mAh, it follows that this putative upgraded model could be bumped up to about 5,100mAh. Therefore, should this leak prove accurate, the Galaxy A54 could be marketed as having a bigger battery - on paper, at least.
