Samsung has announced pricing and availability for the Galaxy A23 5G in the UK and the US. Presented last month in Taiwan, the Galaxy A23 5G only comes in one memory configuration. However, Samsung has decided to offer three colour variants, which it markets simply as Black, Light Blue and White.
At the heart of the Galaxy A23 5G is a 5,000 mAh that supports 25 W 'Super-Fast' charging and powers a 6.6-inch display. According to Samsung, the large panel relies on PLS LCD technology rather than IPS. Still, the display operates at 1080p and 120 Hz, a combination that is not always guaranteed among cheaper smartphones. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A23 5G is on the larger side, with the 5,000 mAh battery and 6.6-inch display contributing to a 197 g and 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4 mm footprint.
Elsewhere, the Galaxy A23 5G utilises a Snapdragon 695 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage and a 50 MP primary camera that supports OIS. Additionally, Samsung includes 2 MP depth, 2 MP macro and 8 MP selfie cameras. The Galaxy A23 5G will be available in the UK from September 16 for £289. Conversely, the handset is already orderable in the US for US$299.99, although it only comes in its Black colour option. Samsung should start fulfilling Galaxy A23 5G pre-orders in the US from September 12.
