iQOO Neo7 Pro confirmed for July 2023 launch in India
iQOO may have disappointed some of its Indian fans by launching a Neo7 with a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity processor in early 2023. It may have taken the brand nearly 8 months, but it may have addressed this potential discrepancy with a Pro variant for this device.
The Neo7 did have a fairly generous 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, at least, and its upcoming Pro sibling is thought to have the same screen - just driven by the high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It may also have up to 16GB of RAM and a potentially crowd-pleasing 50MP main camera.
In other words, the 7 Pro is thought to be a re-branded Neo7 Racing Edition, just with Funtouch OS based Android 13 rather than OriginOS 3 out of the box. Nevertheless, this may mean India will get a new smartphone with a 5,000mAh battery rated to charge by 50% in just 8 minutes soon. iQOO should be able to confirm or deny these rumors on July 4, 2023.
