Nothing has finally confirmed when it will officially launch the Phone (2). Arriving in time for a summer 2023 release, the Phone (2) will combine a 6.7-inch display with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a 4,700 mAh battery, among other features.

Nothing has now revealed the launch date of its second smartphone after five weeks of teasers. As expected, Nothing will fully unveil the Phone (2) practically a year after its predecessor, which debuted on July 12, 2022. In comparison, Nothing will officially launch the Phone (2) on July 11 at 16:00 BST (15:00 UTC).

Nothing has only shared a few details about the Phone (2) so far, including its reliance on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. However, its latest promotional image appears to confirm a few elements of renders that leaked earlier this month. Although Nothing does not refer to the device in the image above as the Phone (2), its LED design matches the one seen in renders published by @OnLeaks and is distinct from the ones in included in the Phone (1).

Reputedly, the Phone (2) will adopt rounded sides, which Nothing will dovetail with a slightly larger display that grows from 6.55-inches to 6.7-inches. The Phone (2) will also feature a 4,700 mAh battery and will be supported for four years, with three major OS updates. Pricing and availability remain a mystery for now, as do other hardware specifications.
