OnePlus' Nord 3 launch event is now thought to be on the horizon, thanks to the arrival of a device with its specs as rumored on the Geekbench database. The leak purports to confirm the smartphone's premium mid-range Android nature, with specs such as 16GB of RAM and Android 13 out of the box.

OnePlus is allegedly on-track to produce a third-gen flagship for its Nord smartphone series, with the alleged appearance of the device in a new, possibly last-minute, leak. It is thought to launch with the same MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor as the brand's new tablet, albeit with a 6.74-inch display and what might be better rear cameras.

Now, it is also believed to have its own model number, thanks to its new Geekbench 6 listings. According to this new leak, it is "CPH2491", which does indeed correspond to a "k6983v1_64" platform with all the main specs of the 9000.

It apparently runs Android 13 with the help of up to 16GB of RAM on the Nord 2 successor, which may need such specs to compete with the likes of the Motorola Edge 40 and Realme GT3 on its launch. The "3" is also currently predicted to launch with a 5,000mAh battery, a hallmark OnePlus Alert Slider and an IR blaster.
