MediaTek Dimensity 810-powered OnePlus Nord N300 5G hits the US via T-Mobile and Metro
Earlier today, the list of OnePlus devices available through T-Mobile and Metro, (10T, 10 Pro, Nord N200, and Nord N20) became longer with the addition of the MediaTek Dimensity 810-driven Nord N300 5G. This handset comes with a price tag of US$228 that puts it between the US$216-priced Nord N200 and the Nord N20 (currently available for US$282).
The OnePlus Nord N300 packs the following specs and features:
- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 810
- Memory/Storage: 4 GB / 64 GB UFS 2.2; microSD support up to 1 TB
- Display: 6.56-inch LCD HD+ with 90 Hz refresh
- Cameras: 16 MP front, 48 MP f/1.7 + 2 MP f/2.4 main shooter + depth camera
- Battery/Autonomy: 5,000 mAh with 33 W SuperVOOC fast charging support; up to 32 hours talk time and 7.5 days standby
- Connectivity: 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5 mm audio jack
- Weight/Dimensions: 0.42 pounds; 0.31 X 2.95 X 6.44 inch
- Software: Android-based (OxygenOS, no version numbers provided)
Based on the specs and features above, the OnePlus Nod N300 5G is a rebranded (and fortunately more affordable) Oppo A77 5G. In our in-depth review, this handset achieved a total score of 80%, turning out to be "a solid mid-range phone in many areas" with a few drawbacks such as the low screen resolution and the lack of stereo speakers.
In addition to the full retail price of US$228, those interested will be able to get the OnePlus Nord N300 from T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile on various payment plans. Both new and existing T-Mobile and Sprint customers will be able to get this handset for free when adding a line, while Metro customers can get it as a freebie when switching.
This handset is also expected to reach Canada in the near future, but there are no details available yet. A model with 128 GB of storage might also arrive in the future, since the Oppo A77 5G has such a version. Sadly, there is no official information about the arrival of a 128 GB OnePlus Nord N300 5G yet.
