OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Impact Limited Edition is announced in China alongside the brand's US Black Friday preview

The Ace Pro could be described as the spiritual successor to the original Ace smartphones made by OnePlus' parent company OPPO. Now, this premium device has joined its forebears in producing a new Special Edition version.

OnePlus China has partnered with Genshin Impact for this limited version of the Ace Pro (which goes by the slightly more boring moniker of 10T in other markets). It drops the standard Moonstone Black finish for one with a detailed, yet subtle enough, new paint-job themed after the game's character Walnut.

The Ace Pro Genshin Impact Limited Edition also has a new custom UI that goes with this makeover, and comes in a considerably enlarged custom box along with a matching case, some on-theme keepsakes and a free Air Cooler.

Otherwise, it has the same specs as the Ace Pro's top-end 16GB RAM/512GB SKU, and will sell for the same price: 4,299 yuan (~US$588). It can be pre-ordered from October 26, 2022; meanwhile OnePlus' North American Black Friday 2022 event will be in full swing.

This seasonal campaign will start on October 27, 2022 with a US$/CA$9.99 Mystery Box sale, by which the brand claims the buyer can attain products or goodies worth at least that price. The boxes will be listed on OnePlus' website alongside the company's "highest trade-in values of 2022" on that day.

This will be followed by a second Mystery Box sale on October 31, which involves a slim chance of grabbing items such as an 8 Pro (the brand's 2020 flagship smartphone) for either US$1 or CA$1.

Then again, they are offered in advance of the brand's Black Friday event itself, which is set for November 21 to 25, 2022. In the meantime, OnePlus recommends subscribing to stay updated on its Mystery Box events, which may be limited in number and entail the return of its infamous invite codes.
