MWC 2023 | Nubia Pad 3D and Nubia Neovision Glass previewed with innovative features
ZTE has teased the Nubia Pad 3D, a seemingly unusual tablet that the company will present later this month at MWC 2023. Little is known about the Nubia Pad 3D yet, but ZTE's marketing showcases suggest that the tablet will be one of many devices introduced during this year's Barcelona-based trade show. So far, ZTE has hinted that it has scheduled two dedicated launch events, with the Nubia Pad 3D set to grace the latter.
As the images below show, the ZTE 5G FWA router will arrive first, with a launch event commencing at 14:00 CET (13:00 UTC) on February 27. Seemingly, the router contains a small display that shows current internet speed; it remains to be seen whether this is always active, though. By contrast, the Nubia Pad 3D will debut a day later at 15:00 CET (14:00 UTC). Based on the images released to date, the Nubia Pad 3D will have relatively thin display bezels and a panel that can create a 3D effect without requiring glasses. Presumably, the tablet uses its two front-facing cameras and a dedicated sensor to track eye movements and help simulate a 3D effect.
Meanwhile, another teaser implies that ZTE also plans to announce new laptops, monitors, routers, smartphones and wearables at MWC 2023. One such device will be the Nubia Neovision Glass, a pair of AR smart glasses with built-in speakers. As far as we can tell, these are distinct from the Nubia Pad 3D and may function like the Nreal Air.
