A few days ago, Happy Run listed the Forerunner 965, one of Garmin's next-generation smartwatches. Images of the Forerunner 965 have surfaced previously, as have various specifications. However, all images were rather low resolution or in incomplete in one form or another.
Subsequently, SwimOutlet has listed the Forerunner 965 on its website with high-quality marketing images. Based on the images that SwimOutlet has uploaded so far, it would appear that the Forerunner 965 has the same sensor array as its predecessor. The move from MIP to AMOLED displays was already known from earlier leaks, while its slimmer display bezels should help it look more modern than the Forerunner 955. Moreover, the Forerunner 965 has a larger start/stop button that should be easier to trigger when running or exercising.
The retailer has also priced the smartwatch at US$599.99, which confirms earlier leaks in the process. Currently, SwimOutlet does not provide a release date. Instead, its website reports the Forerunner 965 as being out of stock. While i-Run suggests that Garmin will launch the Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 965 on March 2. Other sources believe that the pair are more likely to debut on March 14, though.
