Garmin Public Beta Version 14.50 for the Forerunner 945 LTE smartwatch has arrived. The new software brings several improvements to the wearable, including a better indoor pace calculation and enhanced organization of the alarm and timer tools. Intelligent features like auto-pause during the Ultra Run activity and Assistance and Incident Detection have also been improved.
There are new additions to the Forerunner 945 LTE, like a chart data field option for some data types and the ability to leave your gender unspecified in your user profile. Several bug fixes are included in the update, resolving problems with data displayed on the watch faces and in activities. Garmin has also sorted out an issue with the workout feature during certain activities and a problem with structured workouts. Plus, a bug with the Functional Threshold Power guided Test for Indoor Bike has been resolved, alongside several other minor issues.
The new Garmin Public Beta Version 14.50 is a Release Candidate, meaning the update will be made public so long as no significant bugs are detected in this testing phase. At the time of writing, the latest software was rolled out to 20% of eligible devices. You can sign up to join the Garmin Beta Program via Garmin Connect.
