OPPO Find X8 Ultra tipped to ditch two-tone vegan leather look of predecessor
OPPO's distinctive Find X7-series camera hump is paired with vegan leather in complimentary beige, navy-blue or stitched black vegan leather in order to underpin its homage to high-end Hasselblad cameras - the smartphone even has the branding and tuning to match, after all.
That trend might be over in the Find X8 Ultra, however, according to prolific leaker Digital Chat Station. The reliable tipster now hints that OPPO will switch to a more conventional all-glass back in the next series of its top-end Android smartphones.
The X8 Ultra is still tipped to rock a cutting-edge dual periscope lens system, although the rear camera hump in which these shooters are found might be refined so as to be less bulky compared to that of its flagship predecessor.
On that note, the Find X8 Ultra is now also projected to be slimmer than its 9.5mm forbear, yet have a larger battery that could range from 5,500mAh to 5,900mAh in typical capacity.
