Vivo V40 Pro leaks out as upcoming Android smartphone with former flagship SoC
Vivo will unleash a Pro version of the V40 5G that is currently available on Amazon Germany soon, according to some new leaks.
It might also become available in the UK (with or without NFC, oddly enough) through the carrier EE. The V40 Pro has the model number V2347, as confirmed by Thailand's NBTC regulator.
The device has recently shown up on Geekbench with that moniker, in a tip indicating that it is powered by a chipset with specs matching those of the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor.
The 2023 flagship refresh is joined by 8GB of RAM and Android 14 in the benchmark results, thereby inviting speculation that the V40 Pro will be a re-brand of the Vivo S19 Pro for other regions, a smartphone with 50MP shooters on both the front and back, an AMOLED display with a brightness of up to 4,500 nits and a 5,500mAh battery.
