Vivo V30e 5G touted to become thinnest smartphone with >5,000mAh battery type on launch
Vivo may have made its V40 series of smartphones official in Europe; however, there is evidence that the OEM is also still working on the preceding V30 line-up. Now, a launch event for its latest variant has been set in stone.
Despite its name, the Vivo V30e might fit in above the allegedly upcoming V30 SE, as it has 5G while the latter apparently does not. Accordingly, it is now backed to shine in an INR ~33,999 (~$400) price-bracket alongside devices such as the Samsung Galaxy A35.
Then again, it will still be in the vanilla V30's shadow, as that smartphone has a newer (and larger) rear-facing Aura Light LED.
Nevertheless, the upcoming V30e is still backed to take "Studio Quality" shots of individuals with the last-gen ring flash set into its almost Realme 12-esque "Gem-Cut" camera hump.
Then again, the V30e is also set to outdo even its Pro sibling with a new, class-leading 5,500mAh battery. Despite its enlarged size, Vivo claims to have crammed it into a chassis just 76.9 millimeters (mm) thick.
However, the V30e won't be here any time soon, as its launch has been scheduled for May 2, 2024 at 12:00 Indian Standard Time (IST, or 08:30 CET).
