Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus leaks out as ultra-slim Android smartphone with updated processor
Infinix' Hot 50 Pro Plus (or Pro+) is tipped to launch with a 5,000mAh battery - much like a multitude of other Android smartphones out there. However, none of them have been able to launch at just 6.8 millimeters (mm) high for several years now.
Then again, the Pro+ drops the flat profile of the more modern-looking Hot 50 for a display with a (very) curved edge to achieve its new SlimEdge design. The panel is a 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, at least.
In addition, the device is said to run on MediaTek's 4G/LTE-only Helio G100 SoC, whereas most other smartphones that presume to have Pro+ status also tend to have 5G.
Nevertheless, this supposedly upcoming Hot-series flagship could give the rumored Samsung Galaxy A16 (which would succeed the 8.4mm A15) a nasty headache on its arrival.
On the other hand, the "50 Pro+" leaks to date also include hints at pre-orders that could start today (October 7, 2024) in India, the Philippines or both, yet there is no official word from Infinix IN or PH on such an event thus far.
