Vivo V30e 5G pops up as potential budget 50MP smartphone
The Vivo V30 and V30 Pro have some of the most distinctive LED-accented rear panels on the Indian smartphone market (for now). According to some new evidence, they also have a new sibling on the way with a name that usually hints at the addition of a budget option to an Android smartphone series.
These tips do indeed suggest that the 8GB RAM V30e will be anything but a premium device, what with its aging Bluetooth 5.1 specs and all.
Then again, it might still offer existing devices such as the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G a run for their money, as the V30e is also now backed to launch with an up-to-date 50MP rear camera and Android 14 to boot.
Furthermore, it might pose an even more direct threat to the Realme 12 Pro and also-rumored Motorola Edge 50 Fusion with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 platform it may have been caught toting on Geekbench as the Vivo V2339.
Accordingly, should the V30e join its siblings on Amazon.in soon, it might have an MRP of about INR 31,999 to 33,999 (~$385-410), as opposed to INR 39,990 (~$480) for the V30.
Whether the V30e also gets an Aura Light flash for Studio Quality Portraits or not remains to be seen, however.
