Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Amazon reveals launch date and apparent European pricing
The Edge 50 Pro was officially introduced last week. However, Motorola will not begin selling the device until tomorrow. Even then, its release will be limited to India. For now, Motorola has not confirmed when or even if the Edge 50 Pro will be available internationally.
However, a recent leak posited that the handset would reach Europe in mid-April. Now, multiple Amazon listings have popped up with the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) B0CLM5GBHD, one with a release date. As the screenshot below shows, deliveries of the Edge 50 Pro are slated to begin on April 16.
For reference, only one shows correct product images, although that listing lists incorrect device specifications. Purportedly, Motorola will release the Edge 50 Pro in Europe for €699 with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. If that is the case, then we would expect the company to also offer a cheaper SKU with 256 GB of storage. Either way, it appears that the Edge 50 Pro will retail for significantly more in Europe than it does in India, where it starts at INR 31,999 (~$354).
