Redmi Turbo 3: Xiaomi confirms launch date, design, and specs of Poco F6-inspiring device
After announcing its plan to release the Redmi Turbo 3 earlier this month, Xiaomi has now confirmed the launch date of the performance-oriented mid-range phone, while also revealing key feature of the device ahead of its launch.
As revealed officially on Weibo, the Redmi Turbo will debut in China on April 10—just three days from now. The Redmi Turbo 3 will be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and will deliver a total AnTuTu benchmark score of over 1.75 million. That score would put the Redmi Turbo 3 between Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 devices on AnTuTu's leaderboard.
In addition, the Redmi Turbo 3 will sport a 1.5K display, "Ice Cooling" for better thermal management, and up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. While the phone is positioned as a mid-ranger, raw performance looks to be its focus, similar to early "flagship killers" like the Poco F1. Which makes sense, of course, as the Redmi Turbo 3 is expected to hit foreign shores as the Poco F6. That's unlikely to happen until sometime next month, however.
