The Poco F6 is widely tipped to be set to debut in the coming months. Not much is concretely known about the device at this point but a new leak has now revealed the identity of the upcoming sub-premium phone.
As brought to light by GSMChina, it appears the Poco F6 will be a rebadge of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. Reportedly, the Poco F6 has been spotted on Xiaomi's IMEI database with the model numbers "24069PC21G" and "24069PC21I", for its global and Indian variants respectively. Comparatively, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo bears the model number "24069RA21C".
This isn't the first time word has surfaced of the Poco F6 being a rebadge of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, as a leak claimed as much months ago. Last year's Poco F5 was a Redmi Note 12 Turbo rebadge, for example, and the Poco F6 Pro is also expected to be a rebranded Redmi K70.
In any case, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo is tipped to launch later this month or in April, potentially with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in tow. According to prior leaks, the Poco F6, codenamed "Peridot", will follow within a month, which should see it launch in May or thereabouts. It's also expected to be available in all of Xiaomi's typical markets, except Japan.
