Word on the grapevine indicates Xiaomi is readying the Poco F6 series to launch globally around May. Details of the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro remain unconfirmed but new information has now surfaced, potentially revealing the identity of the line-leading Poco F6 Pro.
As recently revealed, Xiaomi appears to have certified the Poco F6 Pro at Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), indicating the Poco F6 Pro may not be far from launch. The Poco F6 Pro is listed with the model number "23113RKC6G", which wouldn't be interesting bar the fact that it's identical with the model number of another Xiaomi device—the Redmi K70—which debuted in China last year with the model number "23113RKC6C".
By the look of it, the Poco F6 Pro will be a rebadge of the Redmi K70. That's not surprising, as Poco F-series phones have a history of being rebranded Redmi devices. Last year's Poco F5 Pro was, for example, a rebadge of the Redmi K60. Similarly, the vanilla Poco F6 has been tipped to be a rebadge of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo.
In any case, if this information is anything to go by, the Poco F6 Pro will arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 16 MP selfie camera, and 120 W wired charging.
