Snapdragon 8s Gen 3: Qualcomm confirms March 18 launch event for new "Snapdragon flagship" chipset

Much has been said about Qualcomm's upcoming chipsets, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. At least one of those chipsets is now confirmed to launch imminently, with Qualcomm officially confirming a product launch event for this month.

Qualcomm has now announced the imminent launch of a new chipset, with the event scheduled for March 18. "The new Snapdragon flagship is about to be released, let's welcome the new year and new atmosphere together," Qualcomm shared on its official Weibo page hours ago. "...On March 18, please look forward to the Snapdragon flagship new product launch conference".

While the post fails to specify which chipset will be unveiled at the event, it's been reported that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will be the star of the show. There's a chance it'll be joined by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 as well, however. According to Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will launch as a "Little 8G3" and will deliver flagship-level performance. Supposedly, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will debut on a new device widely speculated to be the Xiaomi Civi 4.
