Xiaomi's next entry in its Civi lineup of design and camera-focused sub-premium devices is on the way. The Civi 4 is expected to launch in the coming months, with new leaks now revealing some key details of the design-focused smartphone.

Xiaomi debuted its Civi lineup of smartphones back in 2021 as youth-focused, sub-premium devices with interesting designs and class-leading selfie cameras. The company is set to launch the next entry in the series, the Civi 4, with a new leak now throwing more light on the device.

As revealed by leaker Digital Chat Station, it appears the Xiaomi Civi 4 will make its debut soon with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in tow. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, internally coded as "SM8635",  is expected to offer performance in the same ballpark as last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. 

Reportedly, the Civi 4 will sport a 1.5K display, a metal middle frame, and a glass rear panel. Camera-wise, a 50 MP main snapper is mooted. Apparently, Xiaomi may be working with Leica on the Civi 4. That wouldn't be surprising, as the Civi lineup has always been positioned as camera smartphones, particularly on the selfie side. Lastly, the Civi 4 is tipped to be equipped with a battery in the 5000 mAh range, with 120 W charging also expected.
