New Motorola smartphone revealed in three colours via dozens of leaked images
It appears that Motorola is on the verge of releasing several new smartphones globally under its Edge branding after months of expanding its Moto G series. For context, the company has officially confirmed that the Edge 50 Pro will debut on April 3 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, there has been evidence of Motorola preparing the Edge 50 Fusion, most recently through several Geekbench listings.
Now, Android Headlines has leaked thirty promotional images of the Edge 50 Fusion, which we embedded below. Ultimately, the Edge 50 Fusion looks a lot like the Edge 40 and Edge 40 Neo. However, the newer model features Motorola's subtler camera housing design, which is common across all its current-generation smartphones. Moreover, the Edge 50 Fusion seems to have thicker display bezels than both devices, albeit still with a curved finish.
Furthermore, a dual camera set-up can be seen, with a 50 MP primary camera heading up proceedings and supported by optical image stabilisation (OIS). Incidentally, this tallies with earlier leaks, which also alleged that Motorola had included 13 MP ultra-wide-angle and 32 MP front-facing cameras. On top of that, the Edge 50 Fusion will come with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, as well as a 6.7-inch pOLED display, a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 68 W wired charging and 8 GB of RAM coupled with 256 GB of storage. Unfortunately, a release date is unknown for now, as is launch pricing.
