Deal | 2022 Motorola Edge Plus with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 512 GB of storage down to $262 on Amazon
The Motorola Edge Plus (2022) launched about two years ago as the company's flagship in the US with a rather hefty MSRP of $999. Today, however, it can be had for just $261.86 on Amazon, making it a great alternative to current-gen midrange handsets.
Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Qualcomm's top-tier chipset at the time, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Edge Plus' 6.7-inch OLED display has a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 and a 144 Hz maximum refresh rate.
On the rear, there's a triple camera system comprised of a 50-megapixel primary shooter with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide with macro support, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Meanwhile, the 60-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a centered punch hole.
The 4,800 mAh battery is capable of charging at up to 68 W, although the charging brick included in the box is rated for just 30 W. Additionally, the handset supports 15 W wireless charging and 5 W reverse wireless charging. Other features include a basic IP52 ingress protection rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as a USB 3.1 Type-C port.
Moving on to the software, the Edge Plus (2022) is currently running a nearly-stock version of Android 13, and it should get an update to Android 14 any day now. However, it's worth mentioning that the phone will stop receiving security updates sometime next year.
