Honor 90 Smart announced as new 5G mid-range smartphone with 108 MP camera for €249 after pre-release leaks

Only a day has passed since Appuals leaked numerous details about the Honor 90 Smart. In short, while the website revealed official promotional images and numerous device specifications, it did not offer any information about a potential release date. Nonetheless, Honor has now launched the handset in France, where it is offered for €249.90 with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

As expected, Honor pre-installs MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13. By contrast, the company includes MagicOS 8 with the Magic6 Pro, which is underpinned by Android 14. Additionally, the Honor 90 Smart utilises a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and a 5,330 mAh battery, the former of which features two ARM Cortex-A76 cores, six Cortex-A55 CPU cores and a  Mali-G57 MP2 GPU.

Moreover, Honor has equipped the device with an 8 MP front-facing camera that sits within a 6.8-inch, 90 Hz and 1080p LCD screen, as well as 108 MP primary and twin 2 MP auxiliary cameras. All in all, these components help make the Honor 90 Smart weight 199 g, although Honor has kept its thickness to just 8.24 mm. Please see Honor's online shop for more details.
