Infinix GT 20 Pro gaming smartphone launches with Dimensity 8200, 108 MP camera and bright 144 Hz AMOLED display
Infinix is increasingly strengthening its presence on the European smartphone market with smartphones such as the Infinix Note 30. The manufacturer is now presenting an interesting gaming smartphone with an eye-catching "cyber mecha design" typical of gaming with an LED ring on the back.
In order to achieve a solid price-performance ratio, Infinix relies on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, which has four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores with clock frequencies of up to 3.1 GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. The manufacturer has also installed a dedicated display controller, which is designed to shorten response times. The software offers an e-sports mode that not only disables notifications but also improves performance by reducing background activity.
The 6.78-inch, 144 Hz AMOLED display has a resolution of 2,436 x 1,080 pixels, achieves a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and supports touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. The fingerprint sensor is concealed under the display. The 32 MP f/2.2 selfie camera sits in a central punch-hole, while the 108 MP f/1.75 main camera is located on the back together with two 2 MP sensors in the rectangular camera module. The 5,000 mAh battery can be charged via USB-C with up to 45 watts. The case is IP54-certified and, therefore, protected against water splashes.
