Nokia 3210 2024: Classic feature phone refresh revealed to be arriving soon
Less than a month has passed since HMD Global released updated versions of classic Nokia feature phones. Subsequently, the company introduced the first smartphones under its brand, which will soon sell as Pulse, Pulse Plus, and Pulse Pro. It turns out that HMD Global is not done with resurrecting models from Nokia's heyday just yet, though.
According to Nokiamob, HMD Global also plans to offer up a new Nokia 3210. As the teaser below shows, the new Nokia 3210 will be released to coincide with its predecessor's 25th anniversary. For context, the original model sold 160 million units after being announced in March 1999. As for the Nokia 3210 2024 itself, it hardly resembles its official predecessor. Instead, the forthcoming feature phone looks more like the recent Nokia 6310 (curr. $119.98 on Amazon) than the original Nokia 3210. Specifically, HMD Global has modernised the button layout between generations and installed a significantly larger display.
Unfortunately, the Nokia 3210 2024 only has an LTE modem, unlike the 5G-sporting Nokia 3310. Strictly speaking, the device's 25th birthday has already passed. However, HMD Global has hinted that the Nokia 3210 2024 will debut in May. Although it has not confirmed that this will be the case yet, it has hinted that 'an icon' will return next month. Incidentally, it appears that the Nokia 3210 2024 will be joined by multiple Nokia 2 series feature phones and not just the Nokia 225 4G 2024, as a previous leak implied.
