New HTC device depicted as mid-range smartphone in new leak
HTC has something new to add to its U series of Android smartphones, according to a new leak. It might have some decent internals to drive an up-to-date OS, an on-trend Qualcomm processor included. It is tipped to succeed a device with an AMOLED display and an AR/VR tie-in.
A new HTC smartphone is on the way - although this one might be better able to compete than some as it would have things in common with devices such as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 4 and Vivo V30 5G (now INR 30,790 (~$370) on Amazon.in).
Like its possible predecessor, it has started to pop up in new leaks; however, unlike the U23 Pro 5G, the new device has 1 alleged model number rather than 3. The "HTC 2QDA100" has surfaced on Geekbench with what appears to be 12GB of RAM, Android 14 and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, denoted by its 2.63GHz top speed and code-name crow.
Accordingly, the "U24 Pro" (or, possibly, U24) is depicted as an upgrade over the 7 Gen 1-powered U23-series flagship. Hopefully, should this leak prove accurate, it will also have another Corning Gorilla Glass Victus-covered AMOLED display, a headphone jack and wireless charging...VIVERSE integration optional.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
