HTC Vive XR Elite Big Bundle Deal lands touted as a limited-time VR gaming starter kit

HTC Vive touts its XR Elite as the best headset for VR gaming thanks to its standalone design and high-end internals. However, it does not come cheap, sticking with the US$1,099 starting price from its January 2023 launch to this day.

HTC's headset division has made a kind of concession in this area with the new XR Elite PC VR deal. It is available to the Australian, South Korean, Taiwanese and United States markets, although the items found in the bundles vary from one to the other.

For example, in the US, the Bundle consists of the XR Elite with a first-party VIVE Streaming Cable and access to 5 "compelling" VIVEPORT games (Figmin XR, Glimpse, Green Hell VR, Les Mills Bodycombat, and  Unplugged: Air Guitar) thrown in for free.

This accounts for at least US$179 of the Bundles' complementary value (according to HTC Vive, that is), with the rest made up by either a Steam Gift Card (with Vive XR Elite PC VR Bundle A) or Vive Promo Voucher (with Bundle B) of US$100 apiece. Both offers are available on vive.com from now until September 30, 2023.
