Nothing Phone 2a exclusive Blue colorway debuts with ~$239 promo starting price

Nothing has officially unveiled the curtains on the special Blue colorway of its Phone 2a. However, this variant of the smartphone won’t be available internationally, as the company has designed it specifically for the Indian market. It will go on sale from May 2 on Flipkart, a large domestic e-commerce platform in India.

As for the price, Nothing Phone 2a Blue, with a day-one promo, will start at INR 19,999, which is about $239. When the promo ends, the smartphone will start at INR 23,999 with bank discounts applied, which is around $287. Other than the new outlooks, the internals of the special edition are the same as the regular variant.

For those who missed our launch coverage, the Nothing Phone 2a packs the custom-built MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro. It’s a mid-ranger SoC that positions itself in the middle of the Snapdragon 778G+ found in the Phone 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 inside the Phone 2 (12/256 GB curr. $613.69 on Amazon).

On the front, the Phone 2a equips a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a typical brightness rating of 700 nits. This screen has Gorilla Glass 5 protection and has a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. The front also houses a 32 MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout.

Speaking of cameras, the back of Phone 2a has a dual camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 50 MP ultrawide.
