Samsung Galaxy S24 FE model number leak hints at global availability
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is expected to join the 'main' S24 series on the Android smartphone market this year...although no-one is in any way sure when exactly. Nevertheless, a new leak makes the claim that the device does definitely exist, at least.
Android Headlines has published a product listing for the S23 FE's successor by name (and brand), augmented by 4 model numbers that, in true Samsung fashion, differ in terms of their final character only: SM-S721B, SM-S721N, SM-S721U and SM-S721W.
That level of detail typically indicates regional variability, and suggests that the S24 FE will be available in Europe (at least), South Korea, the United States and Canada respectively. Then again, the new tip has yet to be corroborated by other sources such as the FCC, which has yet to register any device by that identifier (or any variation thereof) at the time of writing.
The leak also has nothing to say about the rumor that the S24 FE has both Qualcomm and Exynos variants, although that might mean little: the US Version of its predecessor has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, whereas its German counterpart has the Exynos 2200, yet have the same core model number of SM-S711.
