Samsung Galaxy Unpacked: Launch date for Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch7 leaked
The fact that Samsung plans to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris in the run-up to the Olympic Games in July was already leaked a few weeks ago, and now the specific date is known. In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, fans of wearables in particular are likely to get their money's worth this summer.
The date has not yet been officially confirmed by Samsung, but according to SamMobile, the next Unpacked date has already been set. Multiple sources close to Samsung Fan Magazine have confirmed that Samsung's next launch date will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in the French capital of Paris. The venue for this year's Olympic Games from July 26 is the ideal place for the South Korean sponsor to promote both its new 2024 foldable collection and its expected new wearables, especially since the Galaxy Ring, the first generation of a completely new fitness and health gadget, is on Samsung's release schedule.
Apart from the Galaxy Ring, the successors to the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are expected at the beginning of July. The Galaxy Z Flip6 will only have minimal differences to the current generation, according to previous leaks, while the Galaxy Z Fold6's wider format and thinner and lighter case are likely to be the biggest upgrades. There are also rumors of a Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra on the one hand and slimmed-down fan editions of the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip on the other, so things remain exciting regarding foldables. The Galaxy Watch7 is also expected in potentially three different models, and there may also be news about new Galaxy Buds from Samsung on July 10.

Growing up in regional Australia, I first became acquainted with computers in my early teens after a broken leg from a football (soccer) match temporarily condemned me to a predominately indoor lifestyle. Soon afterwards I was building my own systems. Now I live in Germany, having moved here in 2014, where I study philosophy and anthropology. I am particularly fascinated by how computer technology has fundamentally and dramatically reshaped human culture, and how it continues to do so.
