Rumor | Alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE leaks with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 onboard
While recent leaks have strongly indicated Samsung's plans to launch a Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra sometime this year, it appears every such leak is followed by one claiming that the new foldable will actually be a cheaper one.
According to word on the grapevine in Korea, it appears Samsung is working on two affordable foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold FE and the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Interestingly, however, the source claims only one of the two will be released—which would be the Galaxy Z Fold FE, considering the lack of any rumors of a new Flip model till now.
In any case, the supposed Galaxy Z Fold FE is tipped to be launched in both Snapdragon and Exynos flavors. A Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and an Exynos 2000-series chipset, to be exact. In addition, the foldable is said to be offered with 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM, as well as 256 GB and 512 GB of storage. Reportedly, it'll be thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold5 as well, measuring in at 14.2mm unfolded, and 6.3mm when folded.
Seeing as the source of this leak is unknown—the Twitter account has now been deleted, even—you'd do well to take it all with a pinch of salt. Currently, reliable sources lean strongly toward the new Galaxy foldable being a more premium offering than the Galaxy Z Fold6. We'll keep you updated either way.
