Motorola Edge 50 Fusion revealed in new official-looking promotional video ↺
Motorola has only just released the Edge 50 Pro, although it is clear that the company also has more Edge 50-branded smartphones on the way. On the one hand, numerous sources have detailed the company's next flagship smartphone, which is set to arrive as the Edge 50 Ultra. On the other hand, it appears that Motorola has developed a more budget option called the Edge 50 Fusion, too.
For context, Evan Blass was the first source to mention the Edge 50 Fusion, which he claimed would launch with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery and a 6.7-inch pOLED display. Additionally, the leaker asserted that Motorola had included 50 MP primary and 32 MP front-facing cameras, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and IP68 certification against dust and water ingress. Now, Blass has shared a short promotional video of the Edge 50 Fusion, screenshots from which we have embedded below.
Ultimately, the video reinforces earlier leaks, such as the device's reliance on a 50 MP primary camera supported by optical image stabilisation (OIS). Likewise, the video shows that Motorola has created three colour options for the Edge 50 Fusion, which are rumoured to be called Ballad Blue, Peacock Pink and Tidal Teal. Despite not revealing any specifications itself, the video simulates the device's 68 W fast charging technology, which should take it from 0-50% charge in about 15 minutes. While a release date still remains unknown for now, the creation of a promotional video implies that the Edge 50 Fusion is close to becoming official.
