Infinix has announced that its next smartphones for the Indian market will launch there as the Note 40 Pro 5G Series later in April 2024. They are touted to support pretty much any form of charging out there, up-to-20W magnetic and reverse wired charging included. The handsets also boast 120Hz displays and 108MP main cameras.

Infinix has confirmed that successors to the Note 30 series are on the way to India. The Android smartphones are touted as "All-Round Fast Charging 2.0" devices thanks to a dedicated X1 Cheetah power management chip to go with their MediaTek Dimensity 7020 platforms.

On that note, it seems that the higher-end Note 40 Pro and Pro+ variants have been cherry-picked to go to its series' new region, as they are the only ones with 5G. Then again, that means they should boast USB-C ports with 45W and 100W wired charging respectively, not to mention Infinix' new MagCharge system rated for up to 20W of wireless charging.

The Note 40 Pro and 40 Pro+ are also touted to double as wired and wireless power banks at need, although their 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED displays might be the star of the show for some users, so long as they like pronounced 55° curvature to those panels.

The Note 40 Pro 5G Series will also become India's first Active Halo LED-accented smartphones on their April 12, 2024 launch via Flipkart. There are no clues as to what either new device will cost on their release, although the Note 30 5G once started at INR 19,999 on Amazon.
