The latest generation of Infinix' Note-series Android smartphones has a new top-end 40 Pro Plus 5G variant that comes with a MagCharge wireless charger in the box as well as a 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge power brick. It forms part of a line-up with 120Hz AMOLED displays driven by Brand-first MediaTek silicon across the board.

Infinix' latest smartphones have landed as the new Note 40, 40 Pro, 40 Pro 5G and 40 Pro+ 5G, the first 2 of which are the brand's first to run on the new "Ultimate" variant of the Helio G99, whereas their siblings similarly introduce the Dimensity 7020.

The higher-end variants are also touted as "All-Round FastCharge 2.0" smartphones in that they support the OEM's new up-to-20W Wireless MagCharge technology as well as the wired 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge standard.

The series also boasts "responsive" 120Hz AMOLED displays, although the vanilla 40 is the only flat-screened option, as opposed to the "3D curved" panels of the Pro variants.

Their new "urban esthetic" take on the Note 30 series' square camera hump goes up to an OIS-enhanced "super-zoom" 108MP set-up in the flagship Pro+, and support lifestyle features such as Vlog Clipper and simultaneous front and rear camera recording.

Then again, the Note 40 series upgrades to an  Active Halo flash that also doubles as an apparently AI-enhanced notification light. Its variants are also rated to boot XOS based on Android 14 out of the box.

The new smartphones also upgrade to new vegan leather finishes in Obsidian Black, Vintage Green or Titan Gold, with a second-gen Infinix x BMW DesignWorks Racing Edition to follow.

They are slated to become available in various regions from tomorrow (March 19, 2024) at RRPs that might start at the equivalent of ~$199 for the Note 40; ~$259 for the 40 Pro; ~$289 for the 40 Pro 5G, or ~$309 for the flagship 40 Pro+ 5G.

Meanwhile, the Note 30 5G drops to a new price of INR 15,499 (~$187) on Amazon.in.
