MWC 2024 | Infinix teases upcoming gaming smartphone with fastest-ever Dimensity 9300 SoC
AnTuTu's rankings are currently topped by the OPPO Find X7 with a score of 2,209,832; however, Infinix claims that it can beat this score with a device based on the same Dimensity 9300 platform.
The OEM asserts that it has driven the flagship-grade processor to score 2,215,639 on the benchmark thanks to its latest Mobile Gaming System. It consists of a new CoolMax system that "leverages the Peltier effect" (and may also challenge RedMagic with active cooling), combined with "an AI management platform" to maximize performance.
Infinix also indicates that its upcoming "Flagship Gaming Smartphone" will integrate brand-first dual-chip technology by pairing the 9300 with a Dedicated Visual Processor.
The OEM even hints that its new gaming optimizations can push an FHD+ display to "refresh rates of up to 180Hz", although it did not confirm that the feature (which would be a game-changing upgrade) would make it to its next premium high-performance device.
