Google Pixel 9 shown in four colours in detailed concept video
Reliable leaker @OnLeaks published an early look at the Pixel 9 a few days ago, details of which we have covered separately. Additionally, @OnLeaks claimed that the Pixel 9 will launch alongside another smaller flagship by way of the Pixel 9 Pro. Meanwhile, a successor to the Pixel 8 Pro is rumoured to be in development as the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which would be the first Pixel smartphone to don the XL moniker since the Pixel 4 XL.
Now, concept artist Technizo Concept has visualised the Pixel 9 months before Google is expected to release the device. Embedded below, the videos shows the iPhone 16 rival from multiple angles and in four colours. However, it is worth stressing that these colours may differ those in which the Pixel 9 is eventually available.
Nonetheless, the video provides a closer look at Google's new camera housing, which no longer blends into the frame as it does on the Pixel 8 (curr. $499 on Amazon). Instead, the Pixel 9's camera housing has defined edges, much like the one that Google introduced with last year's Pixel Fold. Reportedly, the Pixel 9 will be 1.1 mm wider and 2.3 mm taller than its predecessor. The former also has a larger corner radius than the latter, which should deliver a rounder overall appearance. Currently, the Pixel 9 is anticipated to arrive this autumn alongside other Pixel 9 flagships, the Pixel Fold 2 and the Pixel Watch 3.
