Pixel 8a release date might be on the horizon as Google announces new I/O developer conference
Google I/O, the company’s annual conference aimed at developers, is back for 2024. The Google I/O 2024 will be taking place on May 14th and anyone can watch the event since it will be livestreamed. According to the company’s post on X, the I/O 2024 will show “Google’s latest developer products, technologies, and ways to engage with the developer community”.
Folks who are interested in attending the live sessions at I/O 2024 can register on this link.
In essence, we should expect Google to focus on AI, introduce new software products, and new features for its existing products like search and maps. However, there is often a hardware side to I/O.
Google took the wraps off the Pixel Fold, the Pixel 7a (Buy on Amazon), and the Pixel Tablet at I/O 2023. A year before that, at I/O 2022, Google unveiled the Pixel 6a (Available on Amazon) and gave users a sneak peek at the Pixel 7/7 Pro and Pixel Buds Pro. So, it is reasonable to assume that we might get to see the much-rumored Pixel 8a and the Pixel Fold 2 at the event.
Let’s hope Google does show some of its upcoming products on May 14th and doesn’t leave fans to scour the internet for leaks and rumors.
Everyone is invited! ????
