Vivo X Fold3 Pro: First Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 foldable could be in line for global release
New Geekbench listings imply that Vivo is not done with the X Fold3 series just yet. For reference, while it is possible to import the X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro, neither device is available through official channels outside China. With that being said, there have been signs that Vivo could release at least the latter internationally.
To recap, Vivo certified the X Fold3 Pro for sale in Indonesia a few weeks after announcing the device in China. The appearance of two new Geekbench listings headed 'vivo V2330' underlines this, evidence of which we have embedded below. Unsurprisingly, 'vivo V2330' not only contains a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, but also 16 GB of RAM.
Moreover, Geekbench reports that the X Fold3 Pro runs Android 14. However, we suspect that any global model would run Funtouch OS, Vivo's global software, rather than the OriginOS software it distributes in China. Please see our X Fold3 Pro launch article for more hardware details and how it differs from the cheaper X Fold3.
