Xiaomi is likely still five months away from releasing its Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro flagships. Nonetheless, various leakers claim to have obtained pre-release information about both devices relating to their designs, displays and cameras.

Kartikey Singh has declared that Xiaomi has decided on the cameras that it will include in its next-generation flagship smartphones. Incidentally, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to serve as showcases of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, just as the CIVI 4 Pro did for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. To that end, a tentative release window for Qualcomm's next flagship mobile chipset has already appeared online.

Allegedly, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will both rely upon triple 50 MP camera set-ups. Moreover, both will have comparatively large apertures. However, Xiaomi's smaller flagship will continue to make do with a non-periscope telephoto camera, unlike the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Supposedly, the latter's switch to a periscope zoom camera will allow it to deliver 3x optical zoom.

Nonetheless, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro's telephoto cameras are both expected to offer macro capabilities, just like the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station claims that the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will look an awful lot like their predecessors. Still, the pair are rumoured to feature 2K AMOLED displays, with a curved finish for the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
