Vivo X100's "flagship killer" leaks with new design and Zeiss quad camera

The successor to the Vivo X100 appears to be very much in the starting blocks. Following the leak of details about the Vivo X100s Ultra, GSMarena has now published images (embedded below) and initial details of the Vivo X100s, the most affordable model in the series. Vivo appears to have combined the design of the X100 with that of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro, as the display and frame are now flat.

The large, round camera module remains the same, as does the Zeiss logo. The camera hardware also remains unchanged, meaning that the Vivo X100s will have a 50 MP f/1.6 main camera with laser autofocus, OIS and a 1/1.49 inch sensor, a 50 MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 1/2.76 inch sensor, a 64 MP f/2.6 telephoto camera with triple zoom, OIS and a 1/2.0 inch sensor and depth sensor. The multi-colored LED flash is located in the upper right corner of the back as usual. At a height of 7.89 millimeters, the new model will be over half a millimeter thinner than its predecessor. 

The glass back of the Vivo X100s will be offered in a total of four colors - black, white, gray and cyan. One of the most significant upgrades of the new model is said to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, a slightly higher clocked version of the Dimensity 9300 in the previous model. All in all, the Vivo X100s is a rather modest upgrade, but the device is expected to be as affordable as the Vivo X100, which was launched in China at prices starting at 3999 yuan (approx. $552).
