Prices of the Vivo X100s, Vivo X100s Pro and Vivo X100 Ultra have leaked on Weibo. The first two won't cost much more than their predecessors, as they come with a redesigned chassis and marginally faster MediaTek SoC. On the other, the Vivo X100 Ultra will understandably cost a pretty penny for all the high-end hardware it packs, such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro start at RMB 3,999 ($555) and RMB 4,999 ($693), respectively, for the base variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. A Vivo X100 Ultra with the same configuration will set you back by RMB 6,699 ($928). Its maxed-out version with 1 TB storage, 16 GB RAM and satellite connectivity will retail at RM 8,499 ($1,178). Interestingly, neither phone as a variant with 24 GB of RAM, which is odd because they're becoming increasingly common among the Chinese marketplace.
For now, the trio will launch only in China on May 13, six days after MediaTek plans to unveil the Dimensity 9300+. A company executive showed off some eye-catching images captured via the Vivo X100 Ultra's telephoto camera. Other features include an AI-driven feature called "four seasons", which can supposedly change the season in an image with software trickery.
