Vivo is still remaining quiet about its next X100 series smartphone releases. While it recently acknowledged that it has more devices in the pipeline, it did it has not confirmed their names yet. Incidentally, an alleged promotional image showing both the X100s and X100 Ultra surfaced online, which we have covered separately.
Now, several hands-on images of the former have appeared online, courtesy of a Weibo account that translates as 'Xie Junjie'. Ultimately, the X100s resembles the X100 Pro (curr. $929 on Amazon) that Vivo released globally earlier this year. As GSMArena notes, the X100s is closer in design to Vivo's current current flagship than the X100, in part because of its 'Sun Halo' design aesthetics.
Moreover, the camera housing outlines that the X100s contains cameras with f/1.57 to f/2.57 apertures and 15 mm to 70 mm equivalent focal lengths. On top of that, a ZEISS T* coating logo can be seen, which is surrounded by four rear-facing cameras. Furthermore, the X100s has a flat display, metal edges with rounded finishes and a centred hole-punch camera. Currently, Vivo is expected to announce the X100s later this month with a Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, the launch date of which MediaTek confirmed earlier this week.
