OnePlus Nord CE 4 to undercut Nothing Phone (2a) launch pricing as full specifications revealed
Leaker @ishanagarwal24 has shared full specifications for the Nord CE 4, OnePlus' next mid-range smartphone. To recap, less than a week has passed since the company released the Ace 3V with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset. By contrast, the Nord CE 4 has already been confirmed to feature the less powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which will put the device in direct competition with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
In summary, @ishanagarwal24 alleges that the Nord CE 4 will contain the following hardware:
OnePlus Nord CE 4 | |
---|---|
Display | 6.7-inch, LTPS AMOLED, 120 Hz refresh rate |
SoC | Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 |
Battery | 5,500 mAh |
Cameras | 50 MP primary with OIS - Sony LYT-6008 MP ultra-wide-angle - Sony IMX35516 MP front-facing |
Memory | 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM & 128 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage8 GB LPDDR4X RAM & 256 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage |
Charging | 100 W SUPERVOOC - 0-100% in 30 minutes |
Misc | Hybrid Dual SIM slotUp to 1 TB microSD expansionOxygenOS 14 (Android 14)Dark Chrome & Celadon Marble colour options |
Ultimately, OnePlus has confirmed the majority of the specifications listed above. However, @ishanagarwal24's camera sensor details are new. For context, the Sony LYT-600 would be something of a downgrade from the Sony IMX890 used in the Nord CE 3. While a newer sensor, the LYT-600 has a smaller sensor size than the IMX890, as well as narrower pixels.
According to @yabhishekhd, the Nord CE 4 will start at INR 24,999 (~$300) on April 1. Alternatively, the device will be available for INR 26,999 (~$324). In both cases, these prices would see the Nord CE 4 undercutting the Nothing Phone (2a) by INR 1,000 (~$12), which debuted earlier this month.
