Nothing Ear (3) tipped to launch soon following official social media teaser

Nothing has developed a habit of juxtaposing the largely monochrome designs of its technological creations with colorful mascots from the natural world, and we may just have met the latest one.

The brand has followed its Phone (2a) release campaign on Twitter/X with...a beetle and a frog. These creatures are the stars of a new video post without further explanation.

However, given that the beetle is the Ear (2)'s mascot, its being literally leap-frogged in the new clip might signify the accessories' impending replacement with upgraded models.

Nothing's current audio flagships were its first TWS earbuds to boast an official IP rating, the LHDC 5.0 codec and an in-ear stemmed design.

Now, it might be interesting to see if the putative Ear (3)s improve on these specs. Then again, the frog might also represent second-gen Ear (stick) buds to go with the mid-range (2a). 

In the meantime, the existing Ear (2) buds are discounted by up to 11% right now on Amazon.
