Vivo V30-series retail leak confirms upcoming launch with premium Zeiss camera features
Vivo is allegedly gearing up for a new smartphone launch event in India, with its posters appearing in a physical Phone Bazaar store in advance. It seems to confirm that the V29 and V29 Pro will be joined by their respective next-gen counterparts soon.
That would mean that the Pro variant would make its global debut into the bargain, although it is slated to have the same camera hump and Aura Light flash as its V30 counterpart.
However, it is depicted as augmented by a certain blue logo in its case. It reportedly signifies that the Pro will debut with Zeiss Cinematic Video Bokeh and Natural Color Modes, not to mention 6 of the Portrait Modes co-developed with Vivo for the brand's current or former flagships.
They have allegedly leaked as Zeiss Biotar; Cinematic; Cine-flare Portrait; Distagon; Planar and Sonnar in advance. Accordingly, the impending V30 Pro might be marketed as the first non-flagship Vivo smartphone to which the fruits of its Zeiss co-branding partnership have trickled down.
Then again, an exact Indian release date or price for it or the V30 has yet to be revealed. For context, their respective forebears currently start at INR 38,990 (~$470) and INR 31,299 (~$377) on Amazon.in.
