Vivo V29 smartphone series tipped to unleash at least one "artistic" variant on the Indian market
Vivo India has announced that it will launch the V29e, a "design masterpiece" of an Android smartphone, soon. It is thought to have entry-level 5G specs, albeit with dual OIS-enhanced rear cameras. For those in the mood for a higher-end handset, the V29 5G is also now thought to be headed to the same country in the near future.
Vivo India has announced that the V29e is "coming soon" as a new Android smartphone in "eye-catching colors". These finishes have allegedly leaked out, hinting at finishes not hugely unlike those of the X Fold2 that may or may not integrate photochromic technology.
The latest V29e tips also suggest that it is coming for the Redmi 12 5G, being a "design masterpiece" powered by a budget 5G Snapdragon 480-series SoC, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It might be joined by a somewhat more premium V29 5G soon, however.
This smartphone augments fairly standard 2023 mid-range specs such as a 120Hz FHD+ 6.78-inch AMOLED display driven by the Snapdragon 778G processor with 50MP rear cameras to both the front and rear, not to mention a reportedly well-received Aura Light LED ring flash.
Both smartphones are slated to have the same 4,600mAh battery with 80W charging. Then again, the V29e is officially set to go live in India at some point, whereas the V29 5G is only rumored to do so due to the discovery of a device called the "Vivo V2250" on the BIS database.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
